In-Building Coverage
Case studies of our
past work:
TETRA SOLUTION:
for POLICE FORCE
BUILDING - UK
Customer Requirement:
To provide TETRA DAS coverage, within zero coverage Custody Suite, including the cell area.
The Solution:
Due to full ducts and cable trays within the building, making a co-ax based solution impractical or impossible and the coverage level within the custody suite ranging between -100 dBm and not registering, the fibre solution allowed easy access to the custody suite, via any route available, with minimum disruption. This gave a post installation signal was a uniform -85 dBm, even in the remotest cell block.
TETRAPOL SOLUTION:
for EMERGENCY SERVICES AND CIVIL DEFENCE COVERAGE WITHIN A NATIONAL SPORTS STADIUM - EUROPE
Customer Requirement:
To provide a TETRAPOL solution, for a national European sports stadium.
The Solution:
A radiating feeder and antenna system was installed, with a RF distribution by means of a Fibre Optic Network, covering the whole of the stadium complex. We used two VHF radio channels and removed three UHF radios ‘off air’ and distributed, using On Frequency Repeaters, into a combining network.
PMR SOLUTION:
for AN EMERGENCY SERVICE TRAINING CENTRE - UK
Customer Requirement:
To provide a purpose built communications system, to be used within an Emergency Service Training Facility. Ideally, a four channel control system, for two operators controlling two base stations each, one for the instructors, and the other for the trainees.
The Solution:
Radiating feeder and antennas were distributed throughout four floors, simulated base and drill tower. Individual rooms being clad with steel and or insulating sheet. All antennas were located to avoid, or be protected from high temperatures. Radiating feeder was buried under moveable steel partitions, used as walls, so that the client could construct different training room layouts. The system requirement for a 95% minimum coverage was well exceeded without excessive overspill into surrounding districts, allowing the four channel control system (as above), to operate.
Exact locations have been removed to protect and respect the customer’s privacy.
